Jyazu was a boss character along with Silber, but originally not only was he a minor character (in “Kizuna Encounter”) but a sub-boss whose low name recognition came as a surprise. One of our game bug checkers for “Kizuna Encounter” taken aback at his appearing in KOF (kind of gives you an indication how old he is, too).
As a result of my desire to recreate the “taste” of “Kizuna Encounter” as much as I could, this beloved character of mine is tinged with the sad memories of having the effects coordinator call me an idiot and the modulations coordinator tell me it would be impossible.
(One day, though, I’d like to make a team of Gozu, Mezu and Kazu.)
